To celebrate the arrival of the 4^th edition Fading Suns game books in North America, HDI company director Andrew Greenberg will livestream insights into the game’s development, as well as that of other classic HDI computer games.  The livestreams in May and June also celebrate the rerelease of the company’s other classic games like “Emperor of the Fading Suns” and “Machiavelli the Prince.”

“A number of these beloved games have been unavailable for years,” said Greenberg. “Our new partnerships with Ulisses Spiele (https://ulisses-us.com/faq-plus/fading-suns/), Hoplite Games, Good Old Games (www.gog.com) and FASA (https://fasagames.com/noble-armada/) mean people can re-experience these great games or try out new versions.”

The livestreams, conducted in conjunction with both the Georgia Game Developers Association (www.ggda.org), Ulisses Spiele, and the Columbus Interactive Media Festival, are:

Greenberg plans to delve into game design philosophy and gameplay techniques during the livestreams. He also plans for special guests in addition to taking real-time questions from viewers and other players.

We’ve made a lot of fixes to the Noble Armada: Lost Worlds computer game and launched it on the Xbox.

We hope you enjoy the game, and we plan to livestream some Xbox play soon. One major difference with the PC version is that when you cycle through enemy ships to target, you will want to select the one you want to shoot with the up arrow on the D-pad.

Noble Armada: Lost Worlds is a strategy XBOX ONE title based on the Noble Armada miniatures game. Set in the Fading Suns Universe, where the suns themselves are dying, humanity battles to revive its lost greatness, or just take what is left.
